AIM 2022

AIM (Accounting is My Major) is a free, half-day, regional-based program for Connecticut high school students and is the result of a partnership between the CTCPA and various Connecticut colleges and universities. AIM, with its emphasis on exploring and promoting accounting as a college major, seeks to provide participants with an interactive experience that allows them to peek into “a day in the life" of an accounting major.

AIM strives to help prepare high school students for and to succeed academically in college—and, by extension, within their career aspirations—through an introduction to various aspects of college as it relates to pursuing the accounting major and CPA profession.

After a number of years off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are thrilled to announce the dates and locations of the Fall 2022 AIM (“Accounting Is My Major”) conferences, co-sponsored by the CTCPA and our three partnering universities. All AIMs have a day-of arrival time of 8:30 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. and departure time of 12:45 p.m.

Registration Information

AIM is a very popular program and registration fills up very quickly. To ensure a high-quality, interactive experience, each AIM is capped at 90 registrants per event, which includes both students and teachers. Therefore, demand for the AIM conferences is very high and in the spirit of fairness and equity, schools can only register for ONE AIM conference per academic year

Each school can register up to a total of 10 individuals, including students and teachers

Submitting the registration form does not guarantee the registration. We will be placing schools based on chronological order of receipt and will notify you of your registration status after events are full.
