MICHAEL SOLAKIAN, CPA, Managing Member

Approximately 40 years of general public accounting experience, which includes specialized audit and accounting training while employed with the international accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick; founded Solakian, Caiafa & Company LLC in 1992 with fellow partner Paul Caiafa. Effective October 2012, Mr. Solakian formed Solakian & Company LLC in order to focus on audits of non-profit organizations and peer reviews. Mr. Caiafa launched his own firm of Caiafa & Company, LLC with an office in Hamden, CT to concentrate on providing tax services. ? Mr. Solakian has extensive experience serving Not-for-Profit organizations, including Voluntary Health and Welfare, both Federal Uniform Guidance and State of CT Single Audit, Common Interest Realty Associations, and 401k defined contribution plans.

Mr. Solakian has also served clients of all sizes in such industries as general and high-tech manufacturing, retail sales, distribution and real estate businesses.

Mr. Solakian is an experienced and qualified Peer Reviewer in the AICPA Peer Review Program, and currently performs system and engagement reviews throughout the country.
